Beginning in the 17th
century and continuing into the middle of the 19th century, the
governing bodies of the colonies, and later the states and the nation,
commonly set aside certain days that they along with the people might
voluntary assemble for public instruction from the word of God, prayer,
thanksgiving, and celebration. At the beginning of each civil year in
conjunction with the general election, legislative and executive
officers would commonly request ministers to deliver public sermons to
the newly elected political bodies. The subject of these "election
sermons" was the character and role of government.

I am pleased to welcome you to our newly redesigned website. The ability for
you to access audio and video teachings from any location through internet

1972. I was in that meeting in Louisiana when the "personal witnessing"
seminar that my Dad was conducting became his very first "faith seminar". In
the evenings, he taught on "personal evangelism". With the pastor's
permission, he conducted a special 10:00 a.m. service on the subject of
"faith and confession". 37 years of ministry later, we have transitioned
from cassette tapes to CD's to MP3's, and this message continues to be
relevant and powerful... Annette Capps

Verse of the Day from Daily Manna
Daily Manna is a daily Bible devotional service provided by Biblica. The
Scripture is provided in many forms and is new every day. It is a great way
to receive the encouragement and hope found in the Word of God.
From His Heart Ministries is the multi-media broadcast ministry of Pastor
Jeff Schreve. We exist to lead hurting people and those who feel hopeless
into a genuine love relationship with Jesus Christ, helping them discover
God’s amazing grace.
The mission of FHH is to proclaim real truth and real hope from the loving
heart of God to the lost and hurting. Pastor Jeff believes that no matter
how badly you may have messed up in life, God still loves you and has a
wonderful plan for your life.
Our world is desperate for a new generation of godly men who will proclaim
the uncompromising truth of the gospel in a practical, memorable, and
powerful way. Pastor Jeff Schreve has a uniquely transparent, contemporary
style that allows the truths of the Bible to penetrate communication
barriers to the gospel that exist in this current generation.
Pastor Jeff compassionately "tells it like it is" with clear biblical
content combined with engaging, personal stories that are relevant,
compassionate, and humorous. His messages are filled with real life-giving
principles for living.
The sermons originate from his pulpit ministry as Pastor of First Baptist
Church in Texarkana, Texas. For directions to FBC, click here, or view a

Jeff on the Radiooadcast outreach, in January of 2005.
From His Heart's weekly TV program is seen worldwide each week into 149
countries on countless TV and cable outlets. The daily 25-minute radio
broadcast is heard on over 400 radio stations across America and worldwide
on the internet.
Focal Point Radio Ministries
Focal Point Ministries is the preaching ministry
of Pastor Mike Fabarez. Pastor Mike is the senior pastor of Compass Bible
Church in Aliso Viejo, CA.
Whenever we study the Bible we have to do our best to let the text speak for
itself. The goal is to excavate God’s message, ascertain God’s values, and
comprehend God’s perspective. We may have many ideas and expectations about
what we hope to uncover and what we wish to find, but the Bible has to be
approached with an intentional objectivity. Many will tell you that reading
the Bible objectively is impossible. That’s a popular refrain from those who
want to give themselves license to dismiss what’s really there. But reading
the Bible with requisite objectivity is not impossible. It may be unsettling
and even scary, but it can and must be done. There are a good many things
that I wish the newspaper would report each morning, but every day I have to
let the reporters report, adjusting my hopeful expectations as I read.

Growing Thru Grace
Pastor Jack Abeelen was raised in a Catholic
home and attended parochial school from elementary grades through high
school. At the age of 18 he heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ presented at a
home study of a friend with whom he had grown up. In 1972 he gave his life
to Christ and God began to work in his heart and call him to Himself. In
1980 Jack was given the opportunity to join a church staff as an assisting
pastor and in 1985 went out to plant what today is the church he still
pastors, Morningstar Christian Chapel in Whittier CA., a Calvary Chapel
affiliate church. His gift of teaching is clearly seen in the easy and yet
relevant way he communicates the Word of God.
He pays attention to context, resorts to biblical examples to teach
principles and is confident that God’s Word will never go out void but will
accomplish whatever God sends it for (Isa.55:10-13), one of His life verses.
Pastor Jack’s teaching ministry can be heard throughout the US daily with
his program: “Growing thru Grace” which airs on over 400 stations and is
dedicated to the plain exposition of God’s Word. His desire is that those
who hear his message might turn to the God who loves them and His only Son,
Jesus Christ, who He sent to save them from their sins. Pastor Jack is
married to his wife Debbie. He has two sons, Jacob and David, two beautiful
daughter-in- laws, Christy and Cheri, and five grandchildren, Ashley,
Connor, Haley, Carter, and Claire.
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to
Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the
thing for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:11, NKJV.
Heaven and Home Hour - Jim Christianson By
this time most of you are aware that the Heaven and Home Hour is in
transition. During 78 years of ministry on the air we have had but three
regular speakers. And now it is time for a fourth. In his 70’s Dr. Jim
Christensen is stepping aside to facilitate the introduction of a new
speaker for the program. Just as Dr. Jim could not, for many, replace
Russell Killman; just as Russell Killman could not replace his father-in-law
and Heaven and Heaven Home Hour's founder Dr. Clarence Erickson, so no one
can replace Jim with the same devotion, love, and respect. However, even
with their differences, each of these three men was proven to be an
effective communicator and teacher of God’s Word.
Our hope and prayer is that when our board of director identifies and
presents a new speaker, he will be as accepted as his predecessors. Pray
for us (the board) as we search, weigh and evaluate potential men to
continue this daily radio ministry.
International Gospel Hour
The International Gospel Hour moved from Texarkana, TX to the West
Fayetteville Church of Christ in Fayetteville, TN on August 1, 1995, under
the oversight of the West Fayetteville elders. Their desire is for the
programs to be scripturally sound and will not endure any deviation from the
truth of the gospel.
Winford Claiborne serves as Speaker/Director of the International Gospel
Hour. W.E. Skipper served as General Manager, and speaker of the One Gospel
Minute until his death in October 2006. David Sain, who also serves as
evangelist for the West Fayetteville church, has taken on responsibility as
the Operations Manager. Dauna Skipper is the secretary and computer operator
for this radio ministry.
Winford Claiborne records his radio sermons in a studio located in his
residence. The tapes are then mailed to National Recording Studio in
Texarkana, TX where Chuck Richardson, chief engineer, builds the program for
broadcast by adding an introduction, singing and concluding remarks. The
finished product is then uploaded on to the Gospel Hour website (www.gospelhour.net),
for use by individuals and radio stations.
A copy of the sermons, on compact disc, cassette tape or a printed
transcript, are available free to all listeners. A free Bible Correspondence
Course is also offered. The Mt. Leo Church of Christ in McMinnville, TN
handles all the Bible Course requests in cooperation with the Gospel Hour.
As of January 1, 2010:
Our radio station list includes twenty-one 50,000-watt stations, including
fourteen clear-channel stations.
The signals from these stations blanket the entire 48 states of the
continental USA, and also reach into Canada and Mexico.

Charles StanleyATLANTA, GEORGIA – Dr. Charles F. Stanley, senior pastor of
the First Baptist Church of Atlanta and founder of In Touch Ministries,
demonstrates a keen awareness of people's needs by providing practical
biblical truths for everyday life. Modeling his ministry after the apostle
Paul's message to the Ephesians, Dr. Stanley believes that: "Life is worth
nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus–the
work of telling others the Good News about God's mighty kindness and love"
(Acts 20:24, TLB).
In 1971, Dr. Stanley became Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of
Atlanta, Georgia. In 1972, a half-hour program called "The Chapel Hour" was
launched on an Atlanta-area television station. Looking for a practical
Bible teaching program, the Christian Broadcasting Network contacted Dr.
Stanley in 1978 to request the program's inclusion on its new venture, a
satellite distribution network to cable systems. At no cost to First Baptist
Church, the broadcast grew from 16,000 local, Atlanta viewers to a
nationwide audience in one week. By 1982, In Touch Ministries was
incorporated and began radio syndication. "In Touch" programs penetrated
almost every major market in the United States during the 1980's, reaching
more than one-million households with the message of Christ's sufficiency
for life's demands.
Today, "In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley" can be heard around the world via
radio and television broadcasts, the handheld In Touch Messenger and the
ministries Web site, www.InTouch.org. "In Touch" programs are seen and heard
domestically and internationally on more than 2,400 radio and television
outlets in more than 50 languages. The ministry continues to produce CDs,
DVDs, pamphlets, Life Principles Notes, books and other Christian resource
material, including its award-winning, monthly devotional magazine, In
Notable organizations and publishers have honored Dr. Stanley. In 1988, he
was inducted into the National Religious Broadcaster's (NRB) Hall of Fame
for the consistent excellence of his broadcasts and his leadership in the
realm of Christian television and radio. Religious Heritage of America named
him Clergyman of the Year in 1989, an award that recognizes pastors who
strive to make Judeo-Christian principles part of America's daily life. In
1993, the NRB honored "In Touch" with the Television Producer of the Year
award; and in 1999, with the Radio Program of the Year award. Just this
year, Thomas Nelson Publishing recognized Dr. Stanley for selling more than
6.5 million copies of his books.
Dr. Stanley has also served two terms as president of the Southern Baptist
Convention (1984-86) and first joined the NRB's board of directors in 1982.
Dr. Stanley is also a New York Times best-selling author who has written
more than 50 books, including: Finding Peace, How to Reach Your Full
Potential for God, I Lift Up My Soul, In Step with God, Landmines in the
Path of the Believer, Handle With Prayer, How to Listen To God, The
Wonderful Spirit-Filled Life, The Source of My Strength, How to Handle
Adversity, Success God's Way, Surviving in an Angry World, and Turning the
Dr. Stanley's earliest childhood memories are of God's support during the
difficult circumstances following the death of his father. Through the
counsel and example of his godly mother and grandfather, he learned to trust
and obey God's Word. At the age of 14, Dr. Stanley received a clear call to
the ministry, which later led him to earn a bachelor of arts degree from the
University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia, and a bachelor of divinity
degree at Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned
his master's degree and doctorate from Luther Rice Seminary. Always
practical, Dr. Stanley often says, "I feel I cannot honestly tell you how to
believe Bible truths, and put these truths to work in your life, until I
have first let God work them into my own life."
Dr. Stanley's messages tackle such issues as parenting, finances, personal
crises, emotions, and relationships. Instructional teaching for personal
spiritual growth focuses on prayer, the character of God, fellowship through
the Holy Spirit, and the Person of Jesus Christ. Dr. Stanley fervently
believes the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God, a belief strongly
reflected in his teaching.
A common theme found throughout In Touch Ministries' voluminous viewer and
listener correspondence is how God has changed lives through Dr. Stanley's
teaching. Any success achieved by In Touch or Dr. Stanley is directly
attributed to the hand of God. Dr. Stanley says, "It is the Word of God and
the work of God that changes people's lives."
The goal of Dr. Charles Stanley is best represented by In Touch's mission
statement: to lead people worldwide into a growing relationship with Jesus
Christ and to strengthen the local church. Dr. Stanley's heart's desire is
to get the gospel to "as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, as
clearly as possible, as irresistibly as possible, through the power of the
Holy Spirit to the glory of God."(New 03-23-12)

or their economic standing, is the trials and tribulations of life.
Health problems. Relationship problems. Financial concerns. Spiritual
issues. As a Christian organization, Liveprayer.Com believes the only answer
to the problems we face is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. While
that does not make a person immune from life's problems, it provides a
foundation which everything we will face in this life can be dealt with
Liveprayer.Com is a place where people who are hurting, struggling with life
in general, can come and find hope to overcome their problems. In addition
to personal responses to emails for prayer, Liveprayer.Com also offers a
free Daily Devotional that is sent directly to the email account of those
who subscribe, an audio version of the Daily Devotional, a Miracle Center
where people can have their faith strengthened in prayer for physical
healing, financial needs, and relationship problems, a Special Features

There have been over 600,000 people that we are aware of who have accepted
Jesus Christ as their personal savior. There have been at least 500 people
who where on the verge of committing suicide when they contacted
Liveprayer.Com, and decided to live. We have a special archive of over
5,000,000 praise reports from people who have requested prayer from
Liveprayer.Com. Included are incredible miracles of physical healing,

Love Worth Finding began in 1987, as a response to several requests for
tapes of messages by pastor and Bible teacher Adrian Rogers. He relates that
"soon the requests began to grow to the point that we knew God was leading
us into a wider ministry." As an extension of Dr. Rogers' pulpit ministry,
Love Worth Finding provided that role and continues today.
Dr. Rogers stated, "I believe God wants us to proclaim the message of
salvation in the power of the Holy Spirit by every means possible ... That's
our commitment at Love Worth Finding." In response to many who are asking,
has that purpose changed since the home-going of Dr. Rogers? No, God wants
us to continue to proclaim the message of salvation. The messenger may be
gone, but the message must continue. Millions still have not heard the
precious name of Jesus or know His redeeming grace.
So our race is not over. We must still run -- until Jesus comes. If you
believe in what God has called LWF to do, we invite you to help us proclaim
God's truth. Our prayer is that you will join with us in running the race
and in broadcasting the Good News that Jesus Christ is truly the greatest

Merely 17 years ago, PowerPoint® Ministries started as a vision of Dr.
Jack Graham and his wife Deb.
They believed that the power of God was evident in their growing church
and that His Gospel message should be spread beyond the walls of that
church to the world at large. They put their faith into action and
purchased airtime on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. PowerPoint®
Ministries was then officially launched in April 1994.
Over the past 15 years, PowerPoint® Ministries has grown to an expansive

The Winning Walk is an outgrowth of Dr. Ed Young’s home church, Second
Baptist Church in Houston, TX—a church whose passion is to share the good
news of Jesus Christ. The doctrinal statement of the church serves as the
basis of our beliefs as a ministry.
Jesus said, “WATCH therefore, and PRAY ALWAYS
that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to
pass, and to stand before before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36)
Are you a WATCHER? Do you PRAY daily about what's happening in your
Community, City, State & Nation? How big is your Prayer World?
Why do you think Jesus commanded us to WATCH & PRAY ALWAYS?
We at WorldwatchRadio.com have found several Biblical reasons!
We believe Jesus as Head of the Church inspired the Apostle Paul to write:
“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others;
but let us WATCH and be SOBER.”
SPIRITUAL SOBRIETY is that state of alertness
that comes from the active presence of God in our lives helping us to WATCH
& PRAY about what's happening in the world around us.
After the September 11, 2001, attack on the
USA, church attendance sky-rocketed because people were SOBERED by what they
had WATCHED on television that week. But their attendance was short-lived
because they soon turned away from WATCHING & PRAYING to the every day
distractions of life.
Jesus knew that the faithful process of
watching & praying about events taking place in the world around us would
help keep His followers on the straight and narrow path of righteousness &
away from spiritual malaise.
The Gospels tell us that “Jesus went forth &
saw a great multitude and was moved with COMPASSION toward them, and He
healed their sick.” When WE GO FORTH into the world through various media
outlets and see multitudes of people struggling with overwhelming challenges
- we’re moved with compassion to pray and take action in some way.
“GOD IS LOVE” (I John 4:16) and He wants us
to BECOME LOVE! Watching what's happening in the world stirs up LOVE
manifested in compassion within us.
The Apostle Paul wrote “...ALL SEEK THEIR
OWN, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.” (Philippians 2:21) WATCHING
& PRAYING about world events helps us to THINK OUTSIDE THE SELF!
Christians can not allow themselves to become disengaged from the world we
were CALLED to SERVE & give witness.
Another reason Jesus commanded us to WATCH & PRAY ALWAYS is so we could
understand Bible prophecy. Jesus said, “Blessed is he who reads and those
who HEAR THE WORDS OF THIS PROPHECY [Book of Revelation]...” (Revelation
1:3) Jesus knew we would be blessed in our understanding of world events
if we studied and understood Prophecy.

Radio Bible Class began on WEXL,
a 50-watt radio station near Detroit, MI, as a straightforward biblical
message by Dr. M. R. De Haan of God’s love that would eventually be
heard around the world. The format of the half-hour broadcast was
simple, opening with the song “Tell Me the Story of Jesus,” and then Dr.
De Haan would then bring to life the Word of God for his listeners.
Radio Bible Class program has grown
and changed in many ways since that first broadcast in 1938, featuring
several Bible teachers, including Richard De Haan, Paul VanGorder, and
Dave Burnham. September of 1995 marked the beginning of the program’s
real-life story format. Program guests from around the world are now
“telling the story of Jesus,” much like the well-loved hymn sung on the
first broadcasts. The program’s name was later changed to

life-changing impact a personal relationship with Jesus Christ provides,
and the hope, encouragement, and direction found in God’s Word.
