Don,  the two links below may be appropriate this December 7th. I remember President Franklin D. Roosevelt saying,  on the radio, "This day will live in infamy."

We had several Pearl Harbor survivors aboard ship. Most of them survived the sinking of our ship at Leyte Gulf. There will be a special on that battle on the History Channel on December 15th at 10:00 PM EST.

 

Because we didn't have video, and movie film was for the 'big ships' we went without adequate portrayal of the battle. This presentation will be computer generated. The Battle of Guadalcanal by the F4F Wildcat fighters appeared on TV several weeks ago. SUPERB.
