Dear Saint Jim!

God bless you Brother. I am a Saint too. Sancitfied by Christ! Anyway, no... never served in the Marines. Never did Military Service, instead... I became a Born Again Christian shortly after Woodrow Wilson. And although my only surviving parent, my Dad, was a devout Catholic I was sent Missionary to Puerto Rico (1974) where my parents are from. There I ran Bible Fellowships on board the Coast Guard Base. Lots of my friends are in the Military.

Somehow, (long story) I trained in the Mountains and High Desert of New Mexico with Gunnery Sargeant Gary F. in CQB with Handguns, the training was was was being taught to Force Recon ( the Marine's Special Forces ), we even produced a Video . Well, I spent the money and produced it. I still have the 1 1/4 " Video Master of the production. The Gunny took a copy and had it mass produced and it flopped. I trusted him because we are both Christians, but he turned out to be a Thief. He's still a Christian so I don't wish him ill, plus THAT too was also a LONG time ago.

One of my Martial Arts Students called me today, he was home ( Washington State ) for two weeks from Iraq where he is a Sargeant, a Medic. He call to thank me for the care packages and for my Prayers. He's OK with a knife, wish I had more time to train him.

Well, that what's going on right now... work everyday as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant ( for the last 17+ years now) live in cheap-to-live El Paso, Texas. Still go home (SF) at least once a year to visit my Dad, who is now a annointed Preacher of the Gospel, I love to hear him share God's Word!

Thank you for writing back!
yours in Christ & Prayer!

Hello, Donald:

Thank you for dropping a note here. I am not a gun nut my self but I do
have some for self defense.

I saw that you were in the USMC. I was in the USN Submarine Reserve and
later the US Coast Guard Reserve now retired awaiting pay in about 3 months.
