Folks:
According to data I've captured as of 1841 hours EST we have sent 274 messages
to the 6 REPs scheduled to receive messages today. If we assume that each person
sent 6 messages and we divide 274 by 6 we should have the approximate number of
people that participated in today's endeavor which is about 45 people. Is that
good or bad.
Remember that my e-mail lists alone reach about 500 people. If we break that down to a percentage then about 11% of the 500 participated. However, if you consider that after my messages get forwarded to all of the MRGRG e-mail lists and we are talking about a few thousand people then the percentage of participation gets driven way down.
This is my observation... never before have so
few tried to do so much for so many. And here is a question to be pondered...
what does it take to get people interested in helping themselves?
I think that I am now ready to step aside and have some of the really
intelligent MRGRG people come in and develop a plan that will gain the degree of
participation that is necessary to work the problems we face in reference to our
military medical care.
Please don't tell me what I should do... just step forward and you do it. I'll
follow your lead.
