Many would be MRGRG Participants have told me that the Web Forms we are pointing them to are too much trouble to use, and I will agree that that statement is true if you do not have "Form Fill" as part of your browser.

Form fill is a function that is built into many browsers which will automatically fill in the personal information that is asked for by Web Forms. I use Netscape 7.2 and it has the Form fill function built in. I also have Internet Explorer 6.0 which does not have the Form Fill function built in.

Goggle has made it possible for you to add a Form Fill function to your Internet Explorer. It may be possible to add this feature to other browsers, but I'm not sure.

I will not be able to give you all the details of how to install the Google tool bar that contains the Form Fill function, but I will point you in the right direction. Goto http://www.google.com/intl/en/options/ , scroll down, and find " Toolbar
Add a search box to your browser". If you click on this link you will start the installation process.  WARNING: If you go beyond this point then you must be computer literate because there are a number of variables to consider, and I do not have answers to your questions.

The Congress did away with their e-mail addresses to cut down on the number of messages they receive, and have tried to confine inputs to just their constituents, and are now using Web Forms. As a result I'm sure they have achieved what they wanted, less e-mail.

Lately we have been asking people to use FAXes and Web Forms and we can see that participation is way down. The only solution I can offer is to ask you to use a Form Fill function to avoid all the typing that is necessary to use the Web Forms. I'm quite sure that if I had to type in my personal information over and over I would not use the Web Forms.
