A FYI pass-along from Ed Lawton "<elawton@cox.net>". Since this event is quite some time in the future I hope that Ed will send timely reminders for the folks that may be able to attend. I would like to be there, but the fact is I probably will not be physically able to attend. Getting old is a bummer, but the alternative (not getting older) is also a bummer.

An event will be taking place in Washington D.C. on April 25-26th
advocating support of veterans affairs & issues.  It is a veteran event,
sponsored by veterans; executed by a veteran (USMC president and
others), and promoted for not only veterans (including MRs), but
families of veterans as well as children of America who are now learning
who we are and what we've done for our nation.

Below is a link to the upcoming event occurring on the National Mall
adjacent to the US Capitol on April 25 & 26.

Day one will start out on the National Mall.  Day two will occur
primarily in the offices of Members of Congress.

I'd suggest you browse the site; some video clips are on line from last
year's events and information is posted about the upcoming activities.
If interested or if you have questions, contact the VFVC President, Mr.
Gene Simes.  veterans@vetmarch2006.com  or  gdsusa@rochester.rr.com

Hopefully, this will be a big event with national attention.  Vets are
coming to D.C. from throughout America.

Feel free to disseminate this info to your own respective contacts.
