Actually I don't have a plan. All I'm doing is stirring the pot to see if
something comes to the top and if somebody else wants to run a project. If they
do then I'll assist anyway I can with web pages and web forms. I've initiated
and administered several project in the last 10 years, with the last one being
the Brown Bag project (which is still on-going).
We have 237 cosponsors
for HR 602 and we could use more. The Keep Our Promise to America's Military
Retirees is the only piece of medical care legislation we have pending in the
Congress. I really don't know what to do next in reference to medical care, but
I do know that if we don't keep talking then it's all over.
In reference to the Proclamation... I plan to use it simply to get the attention
of the public and the Congress. If and when I get it like I want it I plan to
run it in our local paper as a full page AD. In addition I will be trying to
relate our medical care problems to the current group of military retirees that
are fighting the war on terror.
The public simply can
not relate us to something that happened in WWII. Maybe they can relate what
happened to us to what is going to happen to their sons and daughters.
