The family of Ernest Taggart

Ernest Taggart, 64, Silverdale, WA, died of cancer Sunday at Harrison Medical Center.
He was born in Shelbyville, IN, to Orval Tracy and Ella Jane (Seward) Taggart. He graduated from Klamath Falls High School in Klamath Falls, OR, in 1960. On November 25, 1972, he married Dreena J. Smyth in Victoria, B.C. He graduated from Olympic College in 1987 and 1988 with an associate of arts degree and an associate’s degree of technical arts, and mid-management. Mr. Taggart served in the Navy from 1960 to 1980 as a diesel boat operator. Following his Navy career he was a civil servant for 20 years before retiring in 2005. He also owned and operated Ernie’s Mow ‘n’ Go for two years.
Survivors include his wife; his son Travis Taggart; and his brother, Lloyd and sister Carlyn Taggart.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Riff’s Life Tribute Center. Donations: Sub Vets Scholarship Fund, Bremerton Chapter, P. O. Box 465, Silverdale, WA, 98383.
