called to abandon public education
You've heard all about the
disputes: "Silent Night" banned at the "holiday" program, artistic
references to the Bible censored and faith-inclusive children's
programs facing discrimination.
Now some people are fed up with public school treatment of
Christianity and have launched a campaign calling for a rescue of
kids from government education programs – a
"Call to Dunkirk."
The name Dunkirk is famous for the hundreds of thousands of World
War II allies saved in May 1940 when a flotilla of pleasure boats,
fishing craft and others rescued the soldiers from the beaches near
Dunkirk, France, where they were trapped by an advancing German
army.
Author David J. Knowles, who wrote a book on the rescue that British
Prime Minister Winston Churchill called a miracle, said volunteers
including boat owners, fishermen – ordinary people instead of
trained soldiers and sailors – crossed the English Channel to effect
the rescue of about 340,000 people.
Now, officials with Exodus

departure from public schools.

Darwin was on the right track when he claimed that Man descended

theory of evolution was compatible with Christian faith, and could

Exorcist - Devil Influences Abortion Industry
An exorcist authorized to perform exorcisms in several dioceses spoke
at a religious ministry luncheon on Sunday, explaining the basics of
exorcism and its connection with abortion.
Fr. Thomas Euteneuer, president of Human Life International and an exorcist,
spoke at a luncheon hosted by In His Sign Network (IHS). He is an exorcist
authorized to perform exorcisms in several states, and highlighted the
connection between the abortion industry and demonic influence.
“Abortion is a demonic industry,” he told The Bulletin. “Abortion is blood
sacrifice of innocent blood to the devil. The clinics are like temples, the
doctors are like priests, the medical table is like their altar. It’s a
ritualized sacrifice. They have a dogma called choice, a hierarchy called
Planned Parenthood, and guardian angels in the form of police guards that
will arrest you if you try to stop them.”
He said that there have been abortionists who have called abortion “their
sacrament.” Fr. Euteneuer advocates prayer as a necessary step to
successfully fighting abortion.“Abortion is a spiritual evil,” he said. “If
we are to beat it, we can’t just fight it in the political realm. It derives
its power from below. To confront a force this strong, you need a massive

Site 'Playing Texas Hold 'Em With Eternity'
More than a month after atheists launched a
campaign encouraging young people to blaspheme God in an online video clip,
more than 800 people have done so, and a conservative analyst said the
"boneheads" behind the initiative could only be pitied.
Fighting against what he calls "the mental torture that is religion,"
atheist filmmaker Brian Flemming created the blasphemychallenge.com website,
asking teens to commit "the ultimate sin" in return for a copy of his movie,
"The God Who Wasn't There."
The "ultimate sin," in his view, is denying the Holy Spirit, based on the
biblical injunction, "Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never
be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin" (Mark 3:29).
The site asks people to videotape themselves saying "I deny the Holy Spirit"
and to post the videos on YouTube.....

planning billion-dollar 'bailout' for abortion industry
A pro-life group in
Washington has launched a campaign to oppose what it calls president-elect
Barack Obama's planned $1.5 billion "bailout" of the abortion industry.
Last week, the Obama-Biden Transition Project posted a report on its website that
calls for dramatic policy reversals on abortion, including $1 billion in
taxpayer money for international abortion groups like Planned Parenthood.
The report, titled "Advancing Reproductive Rights and Health in a New
Administration," also calls for a 133-percent increase in funding for the
Title X program, which funds Planned Parenthood clinics across the country.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan
B. Anthony List,
is hoping
a Republican-led effort in the Senate will block Obama's plan to
substantially increase taxpayer funding of the abortion industry.

California Attorney-General turns against Prop 8 - supports Gays
SAN FRANCISCO - California's attorney general has
changed his position on the state's new same-sex marriage ban and is now
joining forces with homosexual activists to overturn the results
of Proposition 8.
In a dramatic reversal, Attorney General Jerry Brown filed a legal brief
saying the measure that amended the California Constitution to limit
marriage to a man and a woman is itself unconstitutional because it deprives
a minority group of a fundamental right. Earlier, Brown had said he would
defend the ballot measure against legal challenges from gay marriage
supporters.
But Brown said he reached a different conclusion "upon further reflection
and a deeper probing into all the aspects of our Constitution.
"It became evident that the Article 1 provision guaranteeing basic liberty,
which includes the right to marry, took precedence over the initiative," he
said in an interview Friday night. "Based on my duty to defend the law and
the entire Constitution, I concluded the court should protect the right to
marry even in the face of the 52 percent vote."
Brown, who served as governor from 1975 to 1983, is considering seeking the
office again in 2010. After California voters passed Proposition 8 on Nov.
4, Brown said he personally voted against it but would fight to uphold it as
the state's top lawyer...

The California Supreme Court made one thing perfectly clear this month as a
matter of constitutional law: When it's a case of religious liberty vs. sexual
liberty, sexual liberty wins.
In the case of Benitez v. North Coast Women's Care Medical Group, the California
Supreme Court asked: "Do the rights of religious freedom and free speech, as
guaranteed in both the federal and the California constitutions, exempt a
medical clinic's physicians from complying with the California Unruh Civil
Rights Act's prohibition against discrimination based on a person's sexual
orientation?"
And the majority flatly ruled: "Our answer is no."
This is unfortunate, since religious liberty is actually guaranteed in the U.S.
Constitution. Moreover, the sexual liberty at stake in this case was not the
right of an individual to live as one chooses -- to be free from bullying, fear
and harassment. It was the right to be protected by the government from the
knowledge that one of your fellow citizens disagrees with some of the choices
you have made....

event for President-elect Barack Obama.
The selection of New Hampshire Episcopal
Bishop Gene Robinson for Sunday's event
follows weeks of criticism from
gay-rights groups over Obama's decision
to have the Rev. Rick Warren give the
invocation at his Jan. 20 inauguration.
Warren backed the ban on same-sex
marriage that passed in his home state
of California on the November ballot.
Robinson said last month the choice of
Warren was like a slap in the face. In
an interview with the Concord Monitor,
he said he doesn't believe Obama invited
him in response to the Warren criticism
but said his inclusion won't go
unnoticed by the gay and lesbian
community. "It's important for any
minority to see themselves represented
in some way," Robinson told the
newspaper for a story in Monday's
editions. "Whether it be a racial
minority, an ethnic minority, or in our
case, a sexual minority. Just seeing
someone like you up front matters."
Clark Stevens, a spokesman for the
inaugural committee, said Robinson was
invited because he had offered his
advice to Obama during the campaign and
because of his church work. When asked
whether Robinson was included to calm
the Warren complaints, he said Robinson
is "an important figure in the religious
community. We are excited that he will
be involved." Robinson, 61, said both
Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden
will attend the event, and Obama is

Ore. - Most states don't recognize
same-sex "marriage" -- but now Hallmark
does. The nation's largest greeting card
company is rolling out homosexual
wedding cards -- featuring two tuxedos,
overlapping hearts or intertwined
flowers, with best wishes inside. "Two
hearts. One promise," one says.
Hallmark added the cards after
California joined Massachusetts as the
only U.S. states with legal homosexual
marriage. A handful of other states have
recognized same-sex civil unions. The
language inside the cards is neutral,
with no mention of wedding or marriage,
making them also suitable for a
commitment ceremony. Hallmark says the
move is a response to consumer demand,
not any political pressure. "It's our
goal to be as relevant as possible to as
many people as we can," Hallmark

Homosexual activists accused of 'domestic terrorism'

LAKE CITY - The Mormon church on Friday blamed opponents of
California's homosexual marriage ban for sending hoax mailings
containing white powder to temples, while a group that also supported
the measure condemned "acts of domestic terrorism against our
supporters."
Investigators have not publicly cited any evidence that the mailings
were linked to the Mormon church's support of the measure, and a gay
rights group in Utah disputed that gay protesters were involved.
The letters were sent to the Salt Lake City headquarters of the church,
where powder spilled on a mail clerk's hand, and to a temple in Los
Angeles. Both packages tested nontoxic, the FBI said Friday.
The two temples were sites of recent protests against the church's
support for a California ballot initiative that superseded a court
decision allowing gay marriage. The Mormon church, whose official name
is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said it is stepping
up security.
"We call upon those who have honest disagreements on this issue to urge
restraint upon the extreme actions of a few," church President Thomas S.
Monson said in a statement....

Left Wing Court tosses FCC 'wardrobe malfunction' fine
A federal appeals court on Monday threw out a
$550,000 indecency fine against CBS Corp. for the 2004 Super Bowl halftime
show that ended with Janet Jackson's breast-baring "wardrobe malfunction."
The three-judge panel of the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that
the Federal Communications Commission "acted arbitrarily and capriciously"
in issuing the fine for the fleeting image of nudity.
The 90 million people watching the Super Bowl, many of them children, heard
Justin Timberlake sing, "Gonna have you naked by the end of this song," as
he reached for Jackson's bustier.
The court found that the FCC deviated from its nearly 30-year practice of
fining indecent broadcast programming only when it was so "pervasive as to
amount to 'shock treatment' for the audience."....

in Denver, is a marked departure that stands in stark contrast to the proposal

- A Big Battle Looms
The battle of Gog and Magog has often
been overlooked in the study of prophecy. The diligent student of the
book of Revelation may recognize the names from chapter 20. Vs 8
“[Satan] will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the
earth- Gog and Magog- to gather them for battle.”
However, Gog and Magog first appear in Ezekiel 38-39. In light of recent
events in the world today, this prophecy has received more attention.
There are of course no guarantees, but some people, myself included,
believe that this could occur at literally any time.

THE MAGOG IDENTITY
Russia's invasion of Georgia has caused
a uproar in the international community and further strained
Russia's diplomatic relationship with the West. These events could
help pave the way for the famed battle prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and
39. It is during this battle, that God will directly intercede to
protect Israel from Magog and its allies:
"And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy
face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and
Tubal, and prophesy against him…And I will turn thee back, and put
hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine
army, horses and horse-men, all of them clothed with all sorts of
armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them
handling swords…(Ezekiel 38:1-4)."
So begins this classic passage in which Gog and Magog, with their
allies, are drawn into an invasion of Israel only to have the God of
Israel use the occasion to show Himself strong by intervening on
behalf of His people and destroying the invading forces. To
understand this passage, it is essential to first determine who the
players are. Despite the many controversies, these participants are
surprisingly well identified. Just who are the people represented
here by these ancient tribal names?
