Planned Parenthood is suing the U.S. government this week at the Supreme Court of the United States - and this simply does not make sense....

You and I pay taxes.  The federal government gives millions of dollars ($661.5 million from 1997 to 2001, to be exact) to Planned Parenthood.  This is an enormous influx of cash to an organization that performs abortions and vigorously promotes their agenda.

Your tax money is going to Planned Parenthood.

This Wednesday, the Supreme Court of the United States will hear oral arguments in two cases:  the Ninth Circuit case of Planned Parenthood v. Gonzales and the Gonzales v. Carhart case - in which we have filed two amicus briefs, representing more than 322,000 citizens and 78 members of Congress.

So Congress is effectively funding an organization that turns around and sues them - which is outrageous!  Furthermore, you and I are effectively supporting Planned Parenthood which has a lawsuit against the partial-birth abortion ban!

Of course, the ACLJ is responding.  We need your immediate financial contribution to help stop the flow of your tax dollars to the abortion industry!

But we want to do more.

We have been working on this a long time - but now, Sen. David Vitter has submitted a new bill to the Congress of the United States which would cut off funding to Planned Parenthood.
