To all:

This has nothing to do with healthcare, but it has to do with "things that I don't understand"

First I don't understand about the Holloway Teenager that has disappeared in Aruba. In my opinion, there was some mistakes made at the outset of the trip to Aruba. First, The Parents should not let their Children leave the U.S. unattended. Can anyone fault me for that statement??

Secondly, The So called Chaperones DID NOT do their job. I have heard "Chaperones" mentioned one or two times by Joe Scarbrough and other talking heads. What is it that people don't understand about leaving the shores of the U.S.??

When you do you are under the Jurisdiction and Laws of the Country that you are in. But in the Holloway case, they have been scramming for the Americans (Congress--FBI ) to come to their rescue. For their shortsightness?? I don't think so but the FBI and some Senators did get involved. What is it that people don't understand about being responsible for their own action.

NEXT CASE:

Hurricane Wilmer.

This hurricane, from the outset was headed for the Mexico Border. People were given more than ample time to leave Mexico. However, American Tourists did not heed the warnings and chose to stay in the Resort areas.

Today there are thousands of American Tourists stranded in Mexico. I have heard more than one of them on T.V. ASKING where is our Government?? Why are they not coming to get us out of here??

Hello Tourist?? The U.S. Government did not take you to Mexico and the Government most certainly is not responsible to come after you. Again, What is it that you don't understand about being responsible for your own actions??

I have left the shores of the U.S. Many times and I had full knowledge that once out of the Country, I was under the jurisdiction of the Country that I was visiting. Is that so hard for everyone to understand??

When I was leaving the U.S. I have never yet had a travel agent, Airline or tour operator brief me on the fact that Foreign law applies when you are in a foreign country. You live by their law while in their country and theU.S. is not responsible for your well being or rescue. Am I wrong here or did I miss something along the way??
