Subject: OffTheBeanVine 911 Rage September 11, 2006

September 11, 2006

Five years, has it been five years? It feels much less than that, it feels like it was yesterday.

When the towers fell, we were appalled, outraged, hurt, and vengefully minded, five years later we are....not. Too many Americans have gone back to sleep preferring not knowing to acting from their rage. We SHOULD be enraged. We have reason enough and more. Ignoring the act itself doesn't make it go away any more than ignoring the consequences and aftermath of the attack makes a safe America, but sadly ignore we do too many times. We have managed to terrorize ourselves with the thought that we are not invulnerable and there we are stuck? We have become a depressed nation worried for our future yet unwilling or unable to rise to the level of fighting. This is NOT the America I know.

Not the military, they continue to fight, destroying the Taliban and Al Quaeda systematically. WE CIVILIANS have been infected with this depression and it's hurting us and our efforts to remain free.

We feel bad but seem unready to answer the nay-sayers and doom merchants. We stand by and observe the Homeland Security Agency, the NSA, the FBI, and the CIA hamstrung by lawsuits defending privacy and denouncing wire taps. We may realize that these wire taps are producing results that have spoiled several plots and led to the arrest of many terrorist members, but when some "privacy above all" advocate climbs on his soap box howling mad that we dare to invade personal privacy in our search for those that would kill us all, we say nothing. We accept.

We see our soldiers brought up on charges for wrongful death and murder and we feel really bad about it, but do little or nothing because we are depressed and afraid. We should be marching en masse around the Pentagon demanding their freedom and dismissal of all charges. We should be proud of and supportive of the men and women we asked to save us, yet we walk around in a haze chanting a mental mantra "I'm okay, it'll never happen again" hoping it's true yet fearing it's not. We accept without proof that our soldiers are killers and out of control because some heavy in the rear Senator said so. We chant and wish but we don't fight or stand up when we need to stand and fight because world opinion may not be favorable to fighting and destruction. Keep chanting if it gives you some relief, it doesn't work for this writer.

We are pelted with nasty little news-bits created to convey the impression that we are wrong for invading, wrong for fighting, wrong for not understanding, wrong for being Americans, and wrong for disagreeing with the self appointed saviors of the American States: the ACLU. We are become apologists. We are watching the snake-oil salesman and we're digging in our pockets preparing to pay for his cure and the liberal left are cheerleading on the sidelines rooting for the visiting team. In our hearts we know the cure is a sham but pony up the money anyway because everybody else ponies up.

We are constantly reminded of our place in the world market, world economy, world commitment to peace, trust in the United Nations' abilities and purpose and their point-man leadership which supersedes any national agenda which we may have....it's all secondary to a greater design for world peace and according to the minions of surrender to the inevitable WE ARE THE PROBLEM not the victims. That's like saying women are responsible for the crime of rape because they have vaginas.

How does this "pig in a poke" get sold to the American people? We allow it.

THE OLD SHELL GAME REVISITED

"Watch closely now, the PEACE goes under the shell and around and around it goes.....pick one!"

"Too bad that's not peace that's AMERICA IS WRONG...try again"

"....Round and round....pick one....sorry, that's LET THE UN SOLVE IT..."

"....Round and round....pick one...Nope thats WE MUST WITHDRAW AND ACCEDE TO THE MUSLIM DEMANDS..."

"Round and round and round...."

The only winner is the owner of the game, never the players. Keyword here is "GAME" as that is what it is.

We gamble on nebulous efforts made by the Euro-community, we gamble on luck that we will discover and stop the next inbound attack, and we gamble that all this complex and confusing thing will go away somehow. We're counting on luck and praying for a miracle but we will not support efforts that involve use of force because somebody may think we are bad people and deserving of attack and defeat.

We act as if we are afraid to be angry or enraged as though the rest of the world community would think less of us or somehow hate us, that's what the game owner says and we believe it.

HE WHO OWNS THE GAME OWNS THE HEART AND MINDS OF THE PLAYERS

Who DOES own the game? This is no ten cent sidewalk shyster, this is playing for the highest stakes possible, our very lives and existence. We have become immune to reason and mindlessly keep laying down our bets only to see them raked off into the pockets of the game owner. We are assured that sooner or later we will be a winner, because they told us so.

Who owns the game? Muslims own the game, the Democratic liberals own a piece of the game, the head-chopping insurrectionists own the game, the Doom-Merchant American media owns and operates the game, the far left fringe groups own the game, and the "don't worry be happy" warm fuzzy folk own the game. And still we play, still we buy and swill the snake oil, still we put aside our rage and calmly wait while the shells go round and round and round. It's comforting to think that as long as we play we will someday be a winner.

We have long since passed the point of reason and now need to walk away from the game and good riddance.

WHERE IS THE RAGE WHEN WE NEED IT?

Turning the other cheek only works till you run out of cheeks, what then? Why should we not feel anger, hatred, vengeful thoughts and rage at what was done here five years ago? Rage is not comfortable when inside us, we don't like how it feels but we have sadly grown accustomed to accepting pie-in-the-sky solutions and not having that rage expressed. We watch replays of the Towers crumbling and feel poignant sadness and grief yet we shun feeling vengeful and enraged. Rage unchecked is frightening and wrong, rage focused on a proper target can accomplish marvels if not quenched in the waters of American apologists and left-wing cut and run doctrine and rhetoric. We weren't asked to accept Pearl Harbor and go on, why do we need to go on in peace now? Are we become so passive and afraid of conflict that we will hide and avoid until the monsters come knocking on our doors?

We NEED to be outraged, angry and full of determination to destroy the enemies who have tried to destroy us, nothing less than rage will do because we do not need to warn them, we don't need to bring them into line with a peaceful world; we need to destroy them utterly and thoroughly, they ask and give no quarter nor should we. We need to hate and feed the darker wolf now, the kinder wolf is powerless here in this place we have been forced to travel to, we didn't begin the journey but we must finish it. We will feed the kinder wolf when we reach a place of safety.

We need to pursue charges of treason, sedition, and endangering national security against any media source which interferes with our investigations and security procedures, if the New York Times staff is incarcerated and the Washington Post is standing trial others may be hesitant to disclose our plans and methods, the ACLU can go get bent. Call a spade a spade and a traitor a traitor, do we need to care that it makes some folks mad? Answer, not no....HELL NO! Freedom of the Press and Freedom of Speech survived curtailment and censure during WW2 and when this war ends it will still remain law of the land.

Wiretaps need to go on aggressively, if my phone is tapped they will have wasted their time but really caused no harm to me. Those with nothing to hide are not frightened by the prospect of someone else hearing their words. If it stops one single terrorist from blowing up the Superbowl and sixty-five thousand people, it was a cheap price to pay. But, you know what, I don't think they're tapping phones at random or targeting law-abiding Americans, I think they are targeting those with suspicious connections to the Mideast. I think they are looking at overseas calls not my delivery-pizza order.

The UN needs their noses rubbed in the many failures they have overseen from the Belgian Congo to Korea, to Somalia, and to Lebanon. They need to find other sources of income besides Kofi Anan's embezzlement and we need to cut them off at the ankles, financially and physically. They have become a more closed "good-OLE-boy" network than any small southern town political party. They worked hard for their failures and deserve themselves and living with their deeds, misdeeds, and criminal leadership, we do not.

They need to be told to stay out of our way or suffer the consequences of collateral damage. They neither lead nor get-out-of-the-way, but have become a stationary object and one more hurdle to overcome. We need to evict them from New York permanently and withdraw from their membership and stop sending money to them in all forms. We need to make it plain that no American military personnel shall ever again wear the cowardly baby blue beret of the UN, never again, ever.

The liberal left and the Democratic party at large need a wake-up call to the fact that we are at war...that's W...A....R....WAR. Things happen in wars, casualties are taken, the enemy is killed, innocent bystanders sometimes become victims, and others who are NOT part of the defense are quick to howl "foul" and inevitably somebody somewhere objects to our military actions. We need to tell them emphatically to shut up. We need to tell them we have run out of cheeks and now it's time to do a little cheek slapping of our own so get used to it. If they don't like that idea they can go for a ride in Ted Kennedy's car, bring your own bottle and lifejacket.

We need to keep our money in our pockets and walk away, we need to turn over the medicine show wagon and tar and feather the scammer and make it plain that we have a lot more tar and feathers available. We NEED to be brave and shun the cowards who brainwash us on Channel Nine news hour. We need to boycott their sponsors and bury their mailrooms in mountains of America Matters and You Don't mail.

We need to serve notice to the current administration that we OWE the returning soldiers proper care and respect for the jobs they have done for us. Failing to fund veterans' disability care and increase access to treatment for the surviving veterans of other wars and conflicts is an abomination which plagues all veterans of all wars. They need to be told that promising medical care then failing to provide the needed funds is a slap in the face to every veteran and his or her family, it's a lie and we will not accept being lied to anymore. If we looked around carefully I'm sure we could find enough money to fund superior care at the VA Hospitals from redirecting funds given as foreign aid to nations who hate us yet take our money anyway. Sending france a bill for two world wars is a good start.

We need to close and secure our borders both north and south, we need them secure NOW and if that causes dissension among our neighbors then that's sad but necessary to preserve us a nation. We need to stop accommodating and appeasing and start kicking out the Islamic Mullahs who openly preach sedition and death from Mosques in our own cities, if they don't like it they can go to Antarctica and build a mosque, nobody will care. They have already worn out their welcome in Australia and have been told so by their Prime Minister Howard.

We have been told so many times that anger and rage solve nothing that we've actually begun to believe this coward-song. Anger and rage are needed and needed now, turned upon the Muslim community who shield and cheer the terrorists, the international populace who support and tolerate them, and the mealy-mouthed who want us to be the villains. WE are NOT the VILLAINS we are the victims and deserve our righteous indignation, our anger and our revenge for the acts committed against us. It's not through understanding and smiley faces that we will prevail, if we prevail at all, it will be our anger that saves the day, and our brave military personnel is the spearpoint of that anger.

Be afraid, be very afraid that we will someday forget what happened five years ago. Be afraid that we will be schmoozed into slumber yet again. Be afraid that we lack the courage to accept our rage and work with it as a tool to remove the threats we face. We need not fear fear itself, we need the fear and the anger that it brings to face down the Islamo-terrorists and their Greek chorus of "give up...you can't win....you are violent....you caused the attacks...you are the reason we cannot have peace..."

Complacency and the moral high ground is not a good trade when it guts the nation's will and identity, and being angry and enraged will cause no more dislike than we already have among our detractors and enemies. We need to chant a different mantra...goes like this: "we are Americans and we are enraged and nothing short of total annihilation of our enemy is acceptable, for all others we don't care what they think about us, they've never been so upset with us that they turned down our money, wheat, rescue missions, and aid packages when in crisis, let them solve their own crises from now on and WE can kibbutz from the sidelines and point out how wrong THEY are for a change." Next time Germany invades France we need to insist they keep it. If Russia assimilates Europe it makes Europe their problem and no further concern of ours, we saved their bacon twice, there will NOT be a third rescue.

Be angry and be proud of your anger, embrace your rage and guide it to the task of saving us. In these days we need to hate those who hate us, morally wrong? Perhaps, but realistic and needed. We can sort it all out at a later time once the enemy has been soundly defeated and brought to the point of inability to cause further harm. We need to stop buying into the thought that "it's been five years and it's time to go on." I bet the folks in those planes and buildings would have liked to go on.
