The Democratic Party, the Republican Party, the news media, and almost anyone
you talk to about people that have served in the military get the "VETERANS"
terminology all screwed up when it come to the different categories of
"VETERANS". Not all veterans are the same. I invite you to look at and listen to
the narrated web pages at:
http://mrgrg-ms.org/swindle03-a.html
http://mrgrg-ms.org/swindle03-b.html
and
http://mrgrg-ms.org/swindle03-c.html
Veterans are divided into two major categories depending on whither they served
20 or more years in the military and retired or spent less than 20 years in the
military and was discharged. It does not help anybody when agencies of the
United States Government continues to lump everybody that served in the military
into one group and call that group "VETERANS".
Veterans that served less than 20 years in the military were not promised
medical care in Military Treatment Facilities... they were promised medical care
in Veterans Hospitals.
Military Retirees that served for 20 or more years in the military were promised
medical care in Military Treatment Facilities, but they can also get treatment
at a Veterans Hospital since in addition to being military retirees they are
also military veterans.
The first political party to get this right gets my vote.

Working the Military Retiree Medical Care
broken promise issue
IF IT WASN'T FOR THE MILITARY RETIREE THERE WOULD BE NO AMERICA
I am a retired American military fighting man.
I served in the Armed Forces which guarded our
country and our way of life. I was prepared to
give my life in my country's defense. I will
never forget that I was an American military
fighting man, responsible for my actions, and
dedicated to the principles which made my
country free. I will continue to trust in my
God and in the United States of America, and
I will continue the fight (verbally and in
writing) to regain the medical care that was
promised to the American Military Retirees
before their retirement for as long as I live.
