In as much as the congress seems to be ignoring the will of the majority I recommend that major ticket items be put on the ballot for all citizens to vote their wishes.
The ticket items I have in mind right now are: Immigration policy and enforcement, United Nations support and location, Pork Barrel and Earmark spending, Eminent Domain and the Supreme Court be damned when the majority speaks.
And, I almost forgot: Remove the title " Right Honorable" from the names of congress until such time as they have reearned it, which probably will not be for a long long time.
I agree, however I would add elected terms for the Senate, The terms for a senator should be reduced to two years just like the house of Representative.
Maybe they would not be so arrogant and we could be more effective in holding them accountable for their irresponsible actions, such as the screwing of America with the Amnesty fiasco.
I have seen McCain, Kennedy and Specter today telling the America people in essence, to go to hell, and they would be bringing up the immigration bill Again, Again, and Again.
