Protecting Our National Sovereignty
Finally, a Senator who has some
common sense and is willing to stand up and fight for our sovereignty! Protecting

Our state, and our country, are struggling to keep up with the effects of
globalization—the increasingly free flow of ideas, information, goods and
capital across borders and around the world.
One major challenge is making certain that our national sovereignty is
protected, even as international commerce increases. This is no small matter.
Our sovereignty is the foundation for our freedom.
Sovereignty should rest strictly with the American people. We cannot allow a
foreign country or an international organization to make decisions that should
be our own exclusive province, based on our own national interests.
The U.S. Senate is currently debating the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST), a
document that I believe poses a threat to these concepts. The treaty has been
signed by 155 countries. But President Reagan rejected it in 1982, and the
Senate refused to ratify a different version approved by President Clinton in
1994. Now it’s back....

The state-owned publisher of the Chinese translation of her book has printed
hundreds of thousands of copies (after censoring passing references to
dissident Harry Wu) and stocked them in bookstore windows from Beijing to
Shanghai.
It's also no coincidence that Chinese bagmen are lining up immigrants in
Chinatowns from New York to San Francisco to donate cash to Hillary's
campaign. Many have never voted. Some aren't citizens and couldn't vote if
they wanted to. Most are dishwashers, waiters and garment workers who don't
even have the means to give the thousands they're giving. And an alarming
number say they've been pressured by shady Chinese "businessmen" to help
fill Hillary's campaign war chest....

Air America Launches Nationwide Atheism Program
The liberal talk radio network Air America announced this week it will
launch a nationwide show focusing on atheism. The first national show will
feature Christopher Hitchens, author of "God Is Not Great: How Religion
Poisons Everything."
The Freethought Radio Program, hosted by the co-presidents of the Freedom
From Religion Foundation, has been airing on Air America's Madison, Wis.,
affiliate since April 2006.
On Saturday, Oct. 6, the show will begin airing on 14 other affiliates from
Palm Springs, Fla., to Eugene, Ore., and on XM Satellite radio.
"You can turn on the radio or TV 24/7 to be preached at," Annie Laurie
Gaylor, co-president of the FFRF, said in a statement. "This is one hour a

Communion to two members of the so-called “Sisters of Public Indulgence”,
homosexuals dressed in drag as Catholic nuns.
The “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence”, claims as its motto, “go and sin some
more” and is self-described as a “leading edge order of queer nuns”.
They have long been a drag
(pardon the pun) on the Catholic community in the foggy city. The Sisters of
Perpetual Indulgence were set to hold bingo games at Most Holy Redeemer parish
until Catholic activists reported their plans to the media.

A conservative group says private schools and home schooling will be the
only sanctuary for California parents when two "school sexual
indoctrination" laws take effect on Jan. 1.
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger -- without comment -- signed four
bills backed by the homosexual community over the weekend, two of them
dealing with public schools. (Gov. Schwarzenegger vetoed similar bills last
year when he was running for re-election, conservative groups noted.)
"Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered young children into the hands of those

President Bush warned on Wednesday a nuclear-armed Iran could lead to World War III as he tried to shore up international opposition to Tehran amid Russian skepticism over its nuclear ambitions.

Monday after being diagnosed with Methicillin-resistant
Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA, his mother said.
"I want people to know how sick it made my son," Veronica Bonds

FBI's Outreach to Muslim Jihadists
Much has been written about the U.S.
government's current bout of schizophrenia in its outreach to the
American Muslim community, specifically related to the Department of
Justice. While federal prosecutors in Dallas have labeled several
Islamist organizations as unindicted co-conspirators – describing them
as front groups for Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood - in the terrorist
financing trial against the Holy Land for Relief and Development (HLF),
the FBI is meeting with the very same groups to hold outreach events and
the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ is setting up booths at their
conferences.
As wrongheaded and shortsighted as these policies are, they do not hold
a candle to a recent outreach event held by the FBI's Detroit field
office at the end of last month. As reported in the Detroit Free Press

two top FBI officials from that office "spoke to about 50 Muslims inside
the Islamic Organization of North America, or Tanzeem-e-Islami." The
Free Press described the organization as merely "a Sunni mosque with
a primarily Pakistani congregation" and tells us that the meeting was
nothing more than "part of an effort by the FBI to reach out to Muslims

What is "Islamic" finance? Islamic, or Shariah-based finance, is the 1920s invention of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna. He ordered the Muslim Brothers to create an independent Islamic financial system to supercede the Western economy, facilitating the spread of Islam worldwide. He set the theories and practices and his contemporaries and successors developed Shariah-based terminology for "Islamic economics," finance and banking. [emphasis added]. Attempts by Muslim Brotherhood members in the early 1930s to establish Islamic banking in India failed. Egyptian President Gamal Abdel-Nasser shut down the second attempt in 1964, after only one year, later arresting and expelling the Muslim Brothers for attempts to kill him. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice gushed yesterday that Sen. Barack Obama
is an "extraordinary person" and said it won't be long before the nation
gets its first black president.
Sounding like she had come down with a severe case of Obama-mania, Rice
affectionately referred to the Democratic senator - a Foreign Relations
Committee member - as a member of "my committee," since she frequently
testifies there.
"I think he's very appealing and a great person," she enthused. "He's on my
committee. And we've always had good exchanges. I think he's an
extraordinary person."
Rice - who has repeatedly denied having an interest in running for president

In an on-line poll on Richard Viguerie’s website ConservativesBetrayed.com, readers were asked: “Who was responsible for the Republicans’ disastrous defeats, including loss of control of the House and Senate, in the 2006 elections?” They were given 31 choices of various individuals, factors, and groups, and were asked to select 10.
Their number one culprit: “Conservative leaders who kept silent when the GOP became the party of Big Government.” Coming in sixth was “Conservative media that kept silent while the GOP became the party of Big Government.” More than 77.1 % of Republicans selected conservative leaders, with 47.8% selecting conservative media, as one of the reasons for the negative outcome of the election.
“While many conservative leaders and conservative media outlets kept quiet, or were even cheerleaders for the White House and Congress, the grassroots noticed very little of a conservative agenda but huge increases in federal spending,” Viguerie explained. “And because the Big Government Republican politicians were not receiving criticism from conservative leaders and conservative media, they felt free to indulge their tendencies to spend and spent in order to buy votes.”....
