We have solutions that we feel are feasible for our illegal immigration crisis and we would like you to consider them.

We think that it is unfair for illegal immigrants to be entering our country and receiving benefits without earning them. These benefits should be reserved for U.S. citizens.

We feel the best way for illegal immigrants to earn our benefits would be in service to our country. This would help prove their worthiness and their intent, whether it be for citizenship or just to earn money to send back to their own countries.
We also feel this could be achieved by requiring all illegal immigrants to serve three years in our armed services and be in the reserves for an additional two years. At the end of their time of service to our country, provided they performed honorably, they would be entitled to U.S. citizenship.

While helping solve our illegal immigration crisis, this solution would also provide resolutions for several of our country’s other issues including bringing our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan, while maintaining President Bush’s request for 12 million personnel in our armed forces.

Another solution to this problem would be to encourage U.S. companies, which are taking their businesses overseas, to relocate to Mexico and provide a fair wage. By providing decent paying jobs, it would encourage the Mexican population to remain in their country. This would be a more cost effective way for U.S. companies because the transportation costs from Mexico are significantly less than from overseas. This would also address another crisis in the US, our energy crisis.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
